Last updated: August 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of theboatgoat.co and any charter or concierge service you book through The Boat Goat, operated by Leche Life Entertainment LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the site or booking with us, you agree to them.
Questions: lex@theboatgoat.co
The Boat Goat arranges private yacht charters and related luxury concierge services in the Miami area. We act as a broker. Most vessels we arrange are owned and operated by independent third parties. Your charter is operated by the vessel owner and its captain and crew, who are responsible for the safe operation of the vessel.
Prices quoted on the site or in a message are estimates based on the information you provide, and are not confirmed until we confirm them in writing. Vessel availability changes constantly. A vessel quoted to you may be booked by someone else before you confirm.
If your requested vessel becomes unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative at a comparable price wherever possible.
A charter is confirmed when we confirm it in writing and you have paid the required deposit.
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total charter price is required to book. Your date and vessel are not held until the deposit is received.
Balance: The remaining 50% is paid directly to the captain on arrival, before departure. A charter may not depart until the balance is settled.
Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo, for both the deposit and the balance.

Prices do not include fuel surcharges, gratuity, dockage, or additional services unless expressly stated in your written confirmation.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Changing your date, 7 or more days before your charter: You may move your charter to another available date at no penalty.
Changing your date, within 7 days of your charter: Your deposit remains non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule on an available date. Give us as much notice as you can — we understand things happen.
Cancellation by you: Your deposit is not refunded. This applies equally if you do not arrive, or if you arrive and do not pay the balance due to the captain.
Cancellation by us or the vessel owner, for any reason other than weather or your conduct: you will receive a full refund of your deposit, or a comparable replacement charter, at your choice.
Weather. Charters go out rain or shine. Miami weather changes quickly and most rain passes fast on the water, so rain alone is not grounds for cancellation or refund.
If conditions become genuinely dangerous, your captain has the authority to make the final safety call. In that case you will be offered a reschedule at no additional cost. A decision by the captain to delay, shorten, or cancel a trip for safety reasons is final and is not a breach of these terms.
You agree that you and your guests will:
Follow all instructions from the captain and crew at all times
Provide accurate guest count and registration information before boarding
Not exceed the vessel’s stated passenger capacity under any circumstances
Not bring illegal substances or unlawful weapons aboard
Not operate the vessel or any of its equipment without the captain’s permission
Behave in a manner that does not endanger yourself, other guests, the crew, or the vessel
You are responsible for damage caused by you or your guests to the vessel or its equipment, beyond ordinary wear.
The captain may end a charter early, without refund, if guest conduct creates a safety risk or breaks the law.
Boating carries inherent risks, including rough water, weather, equipment failure, and injury from slips, falls, or activity on or around the water. By boarding, you accept those risks for yourself and anyone in your party. Guests under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Vessel owners carry their own insurance. We recommend you carry travel or event insurance appropriate to your booking.
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability for any claim arising from your charter is limited to the amount you paid us for that charter.
Because we act as a broker, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent vessel owners, captains, or crew. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed connections, lost time, or lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
If you provide your phone number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you messages about your inquiry, your booking, and promotional offers where you’ve consented.

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may photograph or film charters for marketing. If you prefer not to appear in our content, tell us before boarding and we will accommodate you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version. The terms in effect when you book are the ones that apply to that booking.
